For our client we are looking for a Safety Manager for high-voltage projects in the Roeselare region (West Flanders). This is a freelance assignment: a hands-on role on high-voltage and infrastructure sites where you safeguard safety from kick-off to handover.
About the role
You are visibly present on site and keep the project compliant. You sign off permits, deliver toolbox talks with crews in live grid environments and carry out site inspections. No high-voltage background yet? Strong experience in infrastructure, construction or on industrial sites is equally welcome.
What will you do?
- Sign off permits and manage the safety documentation.
- Deliver toolbox talks with crews in live grid environments.
- Carry out site inspections and follow up action points until they are closed.
- Keep the project compliant from kick-off to handover.
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures on the work floor.
What do you bring?
- Experience as a safety manager or coordinator, preferably on high-voltage or infrastructure sites.
- Strong experience in infrastructure, construction or on industrial sites is a good alternative to a high-voltage background.
- Strong knowledge of safety legislation and risk management.
- Hands-on, communicative and independent.
- Available to start and ready for site work.
