For a site in the Zaventem airport environment we are looking for an HSE Prevention Advisor. You watch over the safety, health and well-being of everyone on site and bring training, audits and incident analysis together in one mission: making sure every colleague goes home safely.
About the role
You report to site management and are the go-to person for all HSE matters. Success means a measurable decrease in incidents and near misses, employees who truly embrace safety, and audit findings that are closed quickly and sustainably. You are not a paper advisor but visibly present on the work floor, trusted by both operators and management. In aviation, safety and precision are non-negotiable.
What will you do?
- Deliver HSE training and raise awareness across all teams on safety, health and ergonomics.
- Carry out site audits and inspections and follow up action points until fully closed.
- Analyse incidents and near misses, identify root causes and propose preventive measures.
- Provide first aid and advise on ergonomic improvements on the work floor.
- Proactively advise management on HSE policy, legal obligations and regulations.
- Manage the HSE documentation and report on the key safety indicators.
What do you bring?
- A technical bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Certified Prevention Advisor (minimum Level 2).
- Industrial first aid certificate.
- Trilingual: Dutch, French and English (aviation is an international environment).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Hands-on, proactive and with a sharp eye for risks.
What do we offer?
- A key role in an international, demanding airport environment.
- A visible role on the work floor, trusted by operators and management.
- Choice between full-time or freelance.
- Direct impact on safety, reputation and operational continuity.
