For our engineering projects in the Geel region we are looking for an EHS Project Coordinator who takes on the duties of prevention advisor and safety coordinator during the engineering and construction phase. You work closely with the site HSE team and ensure that safety is built into every project, from design to handover.
About the role
Success in this role means projects that run safely from drawing board to commissioning, with risks identified early and managed well. You handle several projects at once, keep documentation and procedures up to standard and are a trusted safety partner for both engineering and operations.
What will you do?
- Provide safety coordination during the design and construction phase of engineering projects.
- Provide specific safety support to the site HSE team.
- Carry out prevention advisor duties, including training, risk analyses and drawing up procedures.
- Prepare safety documentation for commissioning and start-up.
- Handle several projects simultaneously and keep safety standards consistent.
What do you bring?
- Certified Prevention Advisor (minimum Level 2).
- Safety coordinator for temporary and mobile construction sites (Level B).
- Strong communication skills.
- Skilled at delivering training.
- Flexible working hours and able to handle several projects at the same time.
- Dutch-speaking with a good knowledge of English.
