Description

Keep your workspace tidy by neatly storing your books, folders and magazines. But which support is suitable for your situation? We briefly explain the different types of supports.

Difference between bookends, file supports and magazine holders

Bookends, file supports and magazine holders have exactly the same purpose: to support products and prevent them from falling over. However, all three standards focus on a different product group. These are the differences:

  • Bookends
A bookend keeps your books neatly upright. You can use it to neatly organize your bookcase or shelves on the wall. Bookends come in different shapes and sizes. This way you can choose a minimalist design or a striking design. Bookends come in two versions: one version uses its own weight to hold the books up and the other version uses the weight of the books. You slide this last version under the books like a plate.
  • File supports
File supports are specially designed for files and large, heavy books. Examples include atlases or encyclopedias. These supports are extra high and sturdier than bookends. File supports, like bookends, are available in two versions.
  • Magazine racks
Magazine racks consist of different compartments. In these sorting racks you can store magazines, monthly magazines, catalogues, comic books and newspapers, among other things. Thanks to the different supports, your magazines will stay upright better. They are also easy to sort by subject or format. A magazine rack is often freestanding in the house and fits in with the interior.
